Artist Statement
My abstract paintings are created as a result of explorations in colour, light, depth, form and texture while utilizing the expressive qualities of oil paints.
Like a unique transfer of energy in the action of mark making, the painting process involves a dynamic balance of strokes and subtle variations to convey a sense of mood and movement on the surface.
