March 2009-2010 An online project by instinc. 'Roots' because all invited artist's are international, each having different roots/culture/background. Statement for Subterranean series A continuation of oil paintings done on canvas in 2008. A more introspective series, which remind me of enclosed subterranean surfaces. Some floating, some sinking from its surroundings, brooding yet evanescent based on the colours and contrasts.  |
